With the deadline getting closer for seeking a recount, here's where things stand in the Republican primary between state Rep. Steven Johnson and state Sen. Caryn Tyson.
At the close of business Thursday, Johnson led by 409 votes - down from 452 on Wednesday - out of 433,505 ballots cast, according to the secretary of state's office.
Johnson led by 505 votes on Tuesday
The vote tally on Thursday at 5 p.m. was Johnson 216,957 to 216,548 for Tyson.
