The Kansas transportation department on Sunday condemned a state employee for using an official agency Twitter account to call President Donald Trump a "delusional communist."
Late Sunday, the agency released a statement from Acting Secretary Julie Lorenz saying the tweet did not reflect the views of the transportation department nor Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly's administration.
Lorenz called it an "unacceptable use of state communication tools." The person who sent the tweet is no longer an employee of the transportation department. The tweet has been deleted, she said.
