A top staffer for Democratic state Treasurer Lynn Rogers is joining the Kansas National Education Association as a director of the group's government relations efforts.
Lauren Tice Miller, the assistant state treasuer, will lead the program along with Tim Graham, who resigned his position in the governor's office to lead the KNEA's Government Relations and Political Advocacy program.
"Lauren and Tim are stepping into a program built rock-solid by their predecessors,” said Kevin Riemann, executive director of Kansas NEA.
