A third legislative rematch from the 2022 elections has emerged in Johnson County with longtime Overland Park resident Pam Shernuk again challenging House Majority Leader Chris Croft in House District 8 next year.

Shernuk, a Democrat, challenged Croft last year and came up short with about 46% of the vote.

Shernuk is the former chair of the Johnson County Commission on Aging and worked for the Blue Valley School District for more than 20 years before retiring in 2015.

Shernuk serves on the board of Kansas Advocates for Better Care and is a member of the Blue Valley School Board . . .
