On Friday, we'll know.
The Kansas Supreme Court announced Thursday afternoon that on Friday it will decide whether the Legislature has done enough to adequately fund public education.
The court's decision, which will be issued at about 9:30 a.m., will determine whether the finance plan approved by the Legislature this year was enough to cover the cost of inflation.
The decision has the potential to end a nearly decade long battle over school finance. It also could create a political firestorm.
