Kansas Supreme Court Chief Justice Marla Luckert late Wednesday revealed that she's on medical leave after being involved in a car crash that physicians attributed to a stroke.
Luckert first revealed late Tuesday that she would not sit with the Kansas Supreme Court when it convened for its docket Oct. 27 through Oct. 30.
She said at that time she was following medical advice to not work for a few weeks. Late Wednesday, Luckert revealed more details.
