Sunday Reader: More Adkins’ hints; Casino revenues falling

Good morning everyone:

As someone with a dark sense of humor said last week, one week down in the Kansas legislative session, two more to go — an obvious nod to the concern about a possible COVID-19 outbreak shutting down the session.

Last week looked like a replay of last year's abbreviated session as lawmakers renewed efforts to pass a constitutional amendment on abortion, revisited previously unsuccessful tax bills and heard the governor revive past failed budget initiatives.

So if the stories are starting to sound familiar, you know why.
