Not so harried in getting our weekly roundup out today. Our favorite NFL team played Thursday night, and the Chiefs don't play until tomorrow. The good news is the baseball postseason is around the corner (and so are fall temperatures), so forgive us if we're a little distracted this upcoming week. Last week was one filled with lots of endorsments as Democrats spooled up their campaign war machine against the Republicans in statehouse races across the state. Things are about to get exciting on that front. Now, let's turn to the most significant stories . . .
