Sunday Reader: COVID-19 & religious discrimination


Good morning:

We used to count days and weeks during a legislative session.

Now, we're now counting the days that we're more or less confined at home with the occasional excursion to the store, a restaurant for takeout and a semi-regular 4-mile run.

For what it's worth, Saturday marked four weeks since the first COVID-19 case was identified in Kansas.

As of Saturday, there were 698 cases reported. There were 21 deaths and 172 hospitalizations.
