Steffen’s ivermectin bill returned to committee


Senate President Ty Masterson quietly returned to committee a bill pushed by Republican state Sen. Mark Steffen that would have required pharmacists fill prescriptions for ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.

Without explanation, Masterson pulled the bill from the Senate calendar and referred it back to the Senate health committee, which just passed out the legislation on Tuesday.
