The Kansas Senate on Thursday night approved a plan to extend $10 million in tax credits for donations to pregnancy crisis centers, which abortion rights supporters say use misleading tactics to discourage the procedure.

The Senate voted 28-12 to approve the bill, which provides a 70% tax credit for contributions made to the centers.
