Senate passes bill lifting regulations on eyebrow care


A bill that could settle a legal dispute over regulations of the practice of eyebrow threading cleared the Senate on Wednesday despite protests that it would put customers at risk.

The Senate on Thursday voted 34-6 to pass a bill exempting the practice of eyebrow threading from the regulations of the state Cosmetology Board.
