A proposal to expand Medicaid coverage to an estimated 150,000 Kansans stalled in a committee Monday as lawmakers slowed the bill down to consider more related issues.
Republican state Sen. Gene Suellentrop, chair of the Senate health committee, said the bill would probably not be worked for a couple weeks until it resolves concerns about Medicaid fraud enforcement and how part of the plan would be funded.
The delay comes after Senate President Susan Wagle announced last week that she would not run the Medicaid expansion . . .
