Secretary of State Scott Schwab is asking a Douglas County district judge to delay his order reinstating a three-day grace period for ballots to arrive at election offices after Election Day.
Schwab is requesting District Judge Carl Folsom III to delay his injunction while the case is appealed. The secretary notes that advance balloting has already begun with 46,127 ballots having been mailed out and hundreds already cast.
