Kansas Secretary of State Scott Schwab is asking a federal judge to dismiss him from a lawsuit charging that a buffer zone intended to prevent electioneering violates free speech rights.
Schwab argues in a motion that the plaintiffs lack standing because he's already decided against prosecuting election crimes, including the statute challenged in the lawsuit.
