Republican Attorney General Derek Schmidt on Wednesday accused Gov. Laura Kelly of lying in a new ad where she says men should not play in girls sports.
Schmidt went on Twitter shortly after the ad hit the airwaves, calling it "desperate" because she twice blocked bills banning transgender athletes from participating in interscholastic sports for females.
"She's been with Biden on this for years, now at reelection time she lies. Kansans know it, and will vote her out," Schmidt said in the post.
