Runoff elections in store for Kansas?

In the last three elections, the winner of the Kansas governor's race failed to crack 50% of the vote.

Last fall, Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly defeated Republican Derek Schmidt with 49.5% of the vote in a four-person field.

In 2018, Kelly defeated Republican Kris Kobach in a five-person field with 48.03% of the vote, the lowest winning percentage since 1932.

And in 2014, Republican Gov. Sam Brownback defeated Democrat Paul Davis in a three-person with SSJ
