Former Johnson County Commissioner David Lindstrom campaigned against party politics, Kris Kobach and Congressman Roger Marshall.

Senate President Susan Wagle campaigned against Gov. Laura Kelly.

Plumber Bob Hamilton billed himself as an outsider with conservative values.

Kobach criticized Marshall, accusing him of being a soft supporter of the president.

And Marshall looked ahead toward running against Democratic state Sen. Barbara Bollier in the general election.
