National Republicans are launching an early attack against Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly with a digital ad campaign criticizing her for vetoing a comprehensive tax bill that included a penny reduction in the sales tax on food.
The Republican Governors Association has started a $15,000 digital ad campaign - running statewide on Facebook and being delivered by text - trying to link Kelly with President Joe Biden while blaming them both for inflation.
The governor's campaign called the ad "desperate" and a "lie."
