The Republican nominee for House District 110 covering parts of northwest Kansas has withdrawn from the general election race.
Cody Ward, a district office coordinator and construction mentor for the Kansas Department of Transportation, notified state election officials on Monday that he was pulling out of the state House race after winning the Aug. 4 primary.
