Republican coalition wants plan for reopening economy


A coalition of mostly conservative Republicans in the Kansas House is asking Gov. Laura Kelly for a plan to reopen the state's economy to repair the economic damage caused by the spread of the coronavirus.

"Kansans deserve to have confidence that your office has a plan to return us to some semblance of normalcy as soon as possible," said the letter from 43 Republican lawmakers.
