State Rep. Les Mason of McPherson passed away Monday evening after suffering a brain aneurysm last week. He was 69.
House Speaker Dan Hawkins notified House members of Mason's death in an email shortly after 8 p.m. Monday.
"Rep. Mason touched many lives during his time in the House and I know he was a dear friend to many of you, myself included," Hawkins wrote in the email.
"Please keep his wife Vicki and the rest of his family in your prayers as they navigate this great . . .
