Republican state Rep. Pat Proctor reported raising about $312,000 in his bid for Kansas secretary of state, outdistancing his primary opponent by almost $290,000
Proctor reported having $209,400 in cash on hand. He loaned his campaign $134,000, according to a filing with the secretary of state's office.
Proctor is facing a primary race against Republican state Rep. Ken Rahjes. Former state Rep. Jennifer Day is facing Samuel Lane in the Democratic primary.
Rajhes reported raising about $24,000. He also listed about $8,000 in payable . . .
