Republican state Senate candidate Craig Bowser is apologizing for a text message that his campaign sent over the weekend highlighting a June crash involving his GOP rival, state Rep. John Eplee of Atchison.
The text messages quoted angry Facebook posts from the father of two sons who were involved in the wreck when Eplee's vehicle crossed the center line while heading eastbound on U.S. 73 in Atchison County.
