Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly ventured into Leavenworth on Thursday to celebrate tax cuts in a district where the Democratic incumbent is targeted by Republicans.
Kelly joined with Sen. Jeff Pittman and a handful of local GOP lawmakers for a ceremonial signing of the tax cuts approved during a recent special session of the Legislature.
The governor's appearance at the Council on Aging came at the start of a general election season . . .
