UPDATED: Plumber Bob Hamilton joins U.S. Senate race

Overland Park businessman Bob Hamilton announced Monday morning that he was entering the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate in Kansas.

Hamilton, the owner of Bob Hamilton Plumbing, is entering a race that already includes Congressman Roger Marshall, former Secretary of State Kris Kobach, Senate President Susan Wagle and former Johnson County Commissioner Dave Lindstrom.

“I’m a plumber, not a politician," Hamilton said in a statement.
