Pence coming to Wichita for Kobach, campaign manager tweets

Republican Kris Kobach's campaign manager tweeted out late Tuesday night that Vice President Mike Pence is coming to Kansas to campaign for the secretary of state.

J.R. Claeys tweeted that Pence would be in Wichita next Thursday Oct. 18 to campaign for Kobach in the Kansas governor's race against Democrat Laura Kelly and independent Greg Orman. No time or place was mentioned in his tweet.

The Pence visit would come less than two weeks after President Donald Trump campaigned for Kobach in Topeka.
