Panasonic is postponing plans to bring its new U.S. electric vehicle battery plant in De Soto to full capacity within two years, according to a published report out of Japan.
The Nikkei business daily reported Friday that Panasonic had a goal of reaching full production of an annual 30 gigawatt-hours by the end of March 2027.
Without quoting sources, the media outlet reported that Panasonic was pushing back that target date for reaching full capacity.
