Senate President Ty Masterson has made more personnel changes with his top staffer leaving to take a job with the attorney general's office.
Masterson is moving longtime aide Mike Pirner from communications director to policy director. Pirner will be replaced by Megan Stookey.
And Jacklynn Walters will continue as operations director while serving as interim chief of staff. Masterson gave no indication how long Walters will keep her interim role.
Masterson made the changes after it was announced that his chief of staff, Michelle Schroeder, was leaving July 14 to work for the attorney general.
