‘Odd twist’ leads appeals court to question reversal of abortion injunction

A state appeals court panel on Wednesday questioned whether it should reverse a decision blocking enforcement of state abortion restrictions after learning about a key piece of missing information in what a judge described as an "odd twist."

The three judges on the panel were left puzzled and frustrated about whether to reverse a temporary restraining order that halted enforcement of the Woman's Right to Know Law, which requires a 24-hour waiting period for women seeking an abortion.
