A top aide to Kansas Treasurer Jake LaTurner is leaving for a role with Kansans for Life.
Kansans for Life on Monday confirmed the hiring of Peter Northcott, who will take a job in government affairs with the organization.
He also will assume a similar position with the Kansas Catholic Conference.
Northcott, who now serves as assistant state treasurer, will play a part in KFL's response to a state Supreme Court ruling that found the state constitution protects the right to an abortion.
