A new twist in the campaign for Senate District 25 emerged over the weekend when Democratic activist and businesswoman Mary Ware announced she planned to run for the seat.
In an announcement posted on Facebook Sunday, Ware said she plans to seek the post when precinct committee members convene Saturday to pick a replacement for Lt. Gov.-elect Lynn Rogers. Attorney Kelly Schodorf also said she is running.
