Senate President Ty Masterson on Monday named new committee members to fill the seats that came open when three senators were removed from committees last week in the aftermath of the redistricting kerfuffle.
Here they are:
- Sen. Brenda Dietrich of Topeka has been named vice chair of the commerce committee, replacing Sen. Mark Steffen of Hutchinson.
- Sen. Ron Ryckman Sr. of Meade has been named vice chair of the agriculture committee, replacing Sen. Alicia Straub of Ellinwood.
