Republican Congressman Roger Marshall ended months of anticipation Saturday and joined for the race for the U.S. Senate.
Marshall announced his candidacy Saturday morning at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson, attacking what he called the Democrats "socialist agenda."
"I’m running to protect our way of life in Kansas; our values; our jobs; our children; our farms, our ranches, our dairies,” Marshall said in announcing his candidacy.
"The Democrats’ socialist agenda will kill the American dream," he said. "Here in Kansas, we’ve had enough of their socialist agenda. We’re not going to let the government run . . .
