Livestock Association backs Marshall in Senate race

Congressman Roger Marshall scored another endorsement from the agriculture industry Tuesday, this time from the Kansas Livestock Association.

Marshall won the endorsement over former Secretary of State Kris Kobach, Senate President Susan Wagle, former Johnson County Commissioner David Lindstrom and plumber Bob Hamilton.

The endorsement gives Marshall another chance to distinguish himself from the crowded Republican primary field.

He's already picked up endorsements from the Kansas Farm Bureau, former Gov. Jeff Colyer and former Kansas U.S. Sen. Bob Dole.
