Little-used strategy employed to stop prairie chicken regs in Congress


The state's Republican congressional delegation is stepping up efforts to force the Biden administration to abandon a rule protecting the lesser prairie chicken under the Endangered Species Act.

U.S. Sens. Roger Marshall and Jerry Moran along with Reps. Tracey Mann, Jake LaTurner and Ron Estes are turning to a little-known tool that allows Congress to overturn rules issued by federal agencies.
