The Kansas Legislature will not convene on Wednesday as a winter storm moves into the region.
Neither the House nor the Senate will meet, with scattered committee meetings being held the rest of the week.
The House will return pro forma on Thursday at 11 a.m., and committee meetings will be held at the discretion of the chairs.
Virtual participation in House committee meetings will be allowed for committee members, although they need to be in the statehouse for any final action votes.
All committee meetings have been canceled the rest of the week for the Senate.
