Outgoing state Rep. Les Osterman said Friday he shouldn't have been listed as a treasurer for Michael Capps' original plans to run for the House in District 97.
In an interview with the Sunflower State Journal on Friday, Osterman said he never gave Capps the go-ahead to list him as a treasurer without meeting first.
"He did that. I didn't do it," Osterman said Friday.
Capps has said he did not personally file that campaign treasurer report.
Osterman, a Wichita Republican, said Capps approached him about serving as treasurer. Osterman said he would do it, but only . . .
