KVI weighs in with $2 million ad buy for Mann in A.G.’s race; Republicans launch first attack ad

The left-leaning Kansas Values Institute is coming to the aid of Democratic attorney Chris Mann in the Kansas attorney general's race which could potentially end up being  one of the most expensive for the office in state history.

A social welfare group that doesn't have to disclose its donors, Kansas Values has booked about $2.4 million for the Kansas attorney general's race, according to national ad tracking service, AdImpact.

Meanwhile, a federal political action committee called the Safer Kansas Fund - affiliated with the Republican Attorneys General Association - has booked $3.4 million in broadcast spending . . .
