The Kansas City Chiefs named their lobbyist, former three-term House Speaker Ron Ryckman Jr., to the board that will oversee the new stadium in Kansas City, Kansas.
Ryckman, who played a key role in winning legislative approval of the incentives for the stadium project, will sit on the 11-member panel that will oversee the $3 billion project.
Ryckman served in the Kansas House from 2013 to 2023 representing part of Olathe. He served an unprecedented three terms as speaker of the Kansas House.
