Former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach will announce his candidacy for the U.S. Senate next month, according to a published report.
Spectator USA, an offshoot of the British Magazine the Spectator, is reporting that Kobach will announce a Senate bid in early July. The website quotes a "well-placed" source.
Former campaign manager J.R. Claeys on late Tuesday declined comment on the report.
Kobach just recently lost out on a bid to join President Donald Trump's administration . . .
