Republican Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach has joined a proposed consent order that would declare invalid a state law that provides in-state tuition at higher education institutions for students who don’t live in the country legally.
Kobach quickly joined the proposed consent agreement with the U.S. Justice Department after the federal government filed its lawsuit on Wednesday challenging the law.
