Republican attorney general candidate Kris Kobach has booked almost $150,000 in air time as the primary race for Kansas attorney general starts to approach a half-million dollars.
The Kobach campaign on Thursday reserved $147,000 in Wichita and Topeka starting July 5, according to the national political ad tracking firm AdImpact.
It brings the broadcast total for the attorney general's primary race to $366,955 so far.
Kobach is putting about $112,000 into Wichita, which is less expensive than Kansas City and is more efficient because he will only be reaching Kansas voters.
