Organizers of a southeast Kansas agricultural parade are asking Republican Kris Kobach to remove the replica machine gun from his highly publicized Jeep that he plans to enter in the event.
The committee that oversees the Farm City Days parade in Iola has asked Kobach to refrain from bringing the red-white-and-blue Jeep fitted with a gun to the parade. A spokeswoman for Kobach said the campaign plans to take the Jeep with the gun mounted.
