Republican Attorney General Kris Kobach is warning of legal repercussions against one of the largest pharmaceutical chains in the country if it begins mailing and selling abortion pills.
In a letter dated Feb. 6 to Walgreens, Kobach says the plans to sell the pills by mail is illegal and he promises he will bring enforcement action if necessary.
"As the chief law enforcement officer in Kansas, I am writing to advise you that this plan is illegal and Kansas will not hesitate to enforce the law," he said.
