The Kansas National Education Association has made its endorsements for the upcoming 2022 legislative races.
The candidates earned recommendations after completing the candidate interview process conducted by KNEA members who serve as KPAC representatives.
Not all candidates submitted the necessary information to be considered for recommended status.
The KNEA says it is still receiving information from some candidates and it expects some races to be updated within about a week.
In statewide races, the KNEA endorsed Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly for reelection, Democrat Lynn Rogers for treasurer and Democrat Chris Mann for attorney general.
