Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly's approval rating improved from last year, with a little more than 50% of Kansans satisfied with the governor as she seeks a second term in two weeks, according to a new poll out on Tuesday.
The new survey by Fort Hays State University’s Docking Institute of Public Affairs shows 50.4% of Kansans were satisfied with Kelly, up from 45.4% in a similar poll done last year by the university.
