As the race for Kansas governor heads down the stretch, the campaign theme Monday turned to drag shows and whether they were bankrolled by Gov. Laura Kelly's administration.
Republican Attorney General Derek Schmidt pounced on a report by the Daily Mail, a British tabloid, that suggested that the Commerce Department used tax dollars to fund an "all-ages" drag show.
The Kelly administration said the report was "blatantly wrong . . .
