Kelly says ‘absolutely no way’ she will sign tax bill; promises new tax bill

Gov. Laura Kelly on Thursday reaffirmed her vow to veto a tax bill the Legislature sent her at the end of the legislative session, but signaled that she plans to bring lawmakers a new tax plan to consider at a special session she intends to call.

Appearing on KCUR's "Up To Date" with host Steve Kraske, Kelly said she felt no pressure to sign the legislation even as Republicans flooded social media with messages calling on her to sign tax cuts into law at a time . . .
