Kelly names last round of cabinet nominees

Gov.-elect Laura Kelly rounded out her cabinet Friday with a series of appointments in labor, revenue, wildlife and information technology.

Kelly named former state Rep. Delia Garcia to lead the Kansas Department of Labor; Mark Beshears as head of the Kansas Department of Revenue; Brad Loveless as secretary of the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism, and Lee Allen as Chief Information Technology Officer.

Garcia, the new secretary of labor, represented the 103rd House District of Kansas from 2005 to 2011. She will replace departing Secretary Lana Gordon.
